Paul was born in Korea and was the son of a pastor. He became a pastor eventually and founded Paul's Ministries International (PMI).

He studied at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Korea and then completed the master's program at the subsequent graduate school at Fuller Theological Seminary in the United States.

Since 2005,  he has served in Korean immigrant churches in the United States, including Chicago, Portland, and Irvine.

Paul met Pastor Janet Shim years ago. Her passion for the kingdom of God and vision for the church deeply moved his heart. The members of Mosaic Ekklesia, whom he met at the first worship service, were all humble, pure, and passionate individuals. Through worship, he could again feel that God was actively at work, and he came to believe that their efforts and prayers would surely bear fruit.

Paul believes that the church is a gift from God and embodies Jesus' dream. We as believers, are called to be a church, ekklesia, a community partnering with Christ, the head, to fulfill God's plan. He believes that Mosaic Ekklesia is a church that brings joy to the Lord. He loves and supports the core values that the Mosaic Ekklesia declares.

Paul wants to work with Mosaic Ekklesia to fulfill the vision the Lord has given them. His vision is to live like Paul, following Jesus and living the life of the people of God's kingdom. He hopes to guide and help more people become citizens of that kingdom.

Paul enjoys writing and teaching and finds joy in sharing and instructing based on the lessons learned through research. Paul wants to use the gifts and passion that God has given him and use his experiences within Mosaic Ekklesia to help others fulfill God’s purposes.

Dyane was born and raised in Recife, Brazil.

She is deeply passionate about experiencing God's presence, being guided by the Holy Spirit, and studying God's Word. She desires to help people reach their full potential in Christ, intimately experience the Holy Spirit, discover their purpose, and become strong and effective leaders.

Growing up, Dyane's involvement with the church felt more like a religious obligation. However, in 2011, she had a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit and gained a genuine understanding of Jesus and God’s role as a Father. In 2012, she completed her first Bible School, Rhema Bible School in Recife. She spent two years at Rhema, which laid the foundation of her theological beliefs. The teachings of Katheryn Khulman and Kenneth E. Hagin greatly influenced her spiritual journey. Later in 2015, she attended Rhema Ministries School in Recife. She served in various capacities at her local church and had opportunities to preach during that time.

In 2017, she embarked on a three-year journey at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA. There, she met her mentor, Michael Brodeur, who transformed my perspective of the church. Dyane's passion for seeing the Body of Christ thrive intensified at Bethel.

In 2022, Dyane had the joy of meeting her wonderful husband, Andre, who introduced her to Janet and Steve. She felt an immediate connection with them, as their hearts and passions aligned in their love for the Lord and their vision for the Church. This shared vision led Dyane and Andre to become members of Mosaic Ekklesia. She wholeheartedly believes that this vision aligns with God's heart.

Mary Dean grew up in a neighborhood where the local church was about two blocks from her home.  Life for her was mainly family, school, and church. Church was where she heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, accepted Jesus into her life as a young teenager, and was water-baptized. She continued faithfully in this church and with the Lord.

Years later, after being married and coming to Oregon, she was told to read a book, “Nine O’Clock in the Morning,” about a pastor who came to know Jesus as the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit. Gaining more understanding, of Jesus the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, she shared this with Allen and they pursued the path of coming to know more of Jesus and came to the personal relationship of knowing Him as “their” Baptizer with the Holy Spirit!  With His empowerment and great infilling of love and desire for others to receive this life-changing Relationship with Him, their lives drastically changed to wanting more of Him and following Him.  They both went to Bible college and found a church that preached and lived this truth.

Mary has worked in marketplaces and also on staff at churches.  She has taught women's groups, led prayer ministries, and served wherever the Lord Jesus led. As the Holy Spirit guided them, their home has been a place of ministry to all nationalities. They give glory to God for those He has brought to them to share His Love; international students and parents, people that have divinely been brought by Him to live in their home at times, and countries He has sent them to proclaim His Love and plan for their lives.

Mary fervently loves her husband, the family He has provided, all those He divinely brings to her life, and most and highest above all else she loves the Lord God Almighty. And she desires all to have this Personal Relationship with Him, as He is their Creator, Father in Heaven, who sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ, as the ultimate expression of His love for us.  When we ask and receive His Great Love, our lives are forever in love with Him and we help others to live to share this Divine relationship until He returns or we go to be with Him.

Arcema (Arcy) was born in Guatemala and raised in southern California after immigrating at ten years old. Coming to the United States allowed her family to break the chains of poverty that had affected them for generations. However, the most significant gift the US gave her is Jesus.

Arcy's mom brought her to church at ten years old, and she never left.  She is very grateful for her relationship with Jesus who healed the spiritual brokenness that she came with. Jesus helped her understand that His sacrifice paid for her sins and pain.  She could be free from it all!

She served in the church in different roles throughout her youth and young adult life -from teaching in the children's ministry to leading the worship team and pastoring the youth and young adults. She reunited with her childhood friend, Christian, and got married at the age of 30. They have been married for 20 years and have two beautiful children.

A few years after getting married, they moved to Oregon, where they attended Beaverton Foursquare church. They served in the children's ministry and interpreted the sermon in Spanish for ten years. Later on, they joined the international ministry where they met beautiful people of different nationalities, cultures, and languages. It felt like a little taste of heaven.

Their family joined Mosaic Ekklesia because it fosters the need to find yourself as an integral part of the church. They know that this is a place where people can find healing and purpose. Helping people find their purpose is closely related to her vocation as an educator. Arcy believes every person deserves to receive God's spiritual healing and purpose to help them achieve their goals on earth and in heaven.

David got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1977 because of an encounter with God.

After being in a car accident in February 1977, he heard these words, “You know too much, make a decision!” He knew instantly that it was an invitation from God! Approximately 60 days later, his brother led him in a prayer that has changed his life and legacy forever. David has been and he’s resolved to continue to be a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.

His hunger for truth, no matter how it affects him, is his heart's desire. The verse that leaped off the page early in his walk with Jesus is “Now concerning spirituals, (gifts is not in the original text) brethren, I do not want you to be unaware” in NASB translation. The word " unaware " is actually “ignorant” in Greek, and he thought that meant he can be ignorant of spirituals!

Because David was hungry to know God more, he attended bible school in the late ’70s, met his future wife there, married, and had three incredible children who love Jesus.

Together with his wife, David planted a church and merged with another church, and when that didn’t work out, they went to another church. He eventually was hired as a janitor, then associate pastor, senior leadership team, corporate officer, bible school director, and church administrator. His church grew from 350 in 1988 to 2,500 in 2017 on the weekends.  David retired from his church after 28+ years.  David and his wife have since gone back to bible school, coach leaders from churches around the world, and continue to stay hungry to know Him. (Phil 3)

My journey with this incredible community began in 2012 when I moved to Portland, Oregon, from Brazil. Together, we experienced God's presence through worship and community, and the Holy Spirit empowered us to fulfill our calling. Serving and leading worship at Mosaic has truly been an incredible blessing in my life.

In 2016, alongside Janet Shim, James Shim, and Ken Lim, we received a revelation from God that ignited the vision to plant and multiply churches to express His kingdom on earth. That vision became a reality in the form of Mosaic Ekklesia in 2023. Our passion was to see lives transformed by Jesus, believers connected with God and empowered to live out their purpose and destiny in God's kingdom.

In addition to my full-time engineering job, I have a deep passion for equipping and empowering individuals to make a positive impact in the world. I’m committed to seeing people fulfill their God-given purpose and bring transformation to their workplaces, carrying God's presence wherever we go and shaping the culture around us.

In 2023, I married an amazing woman named Dyane. Together, our mission is to share the message of Jesus with nations. We believe in the rise of glorious sons and daughters and the transformation of cities through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Glenn grew up in the Philippines, and his first encounter with God was through his dad. But it was only during his years in college that he finally received Jesus as his Saviour. It was also in college that Glenn met his wife of 34 years, Lyne. Together with Lyne and their friends, they formed a choir and ministered to different events and occasions through singing.

Glenn graduated Cum laude in Electronics and Communications Engineering and had a lucrative career in the Telecoms industry until the time when he had to make a hard decision to leave this career to be with the family and go to Oregon because of Lyne's job.  They moved to Oregon in 2001 and never left the state.

Through God's grace, Glenn started a new career as a Software Engineer in Oregon, a position he has had for 20 years.

Glenn and Lyne also served as elders in another church before finally deciding to join Mosaic Ekklesia in 2023.  The school they own, Westside Montessori International, is now a partner ministry with ME, and together, we are helping each other to establish God's presence in this Hillsboro/Beaverton community.
